Healthy teeth are important to your child’s overall health and development. Your child’s teeth help them eat and digest food, speak properly, and help their permanent teeth come in correctly. Here are a few tips on how to care for your child’s teeth:

Remember that it is normal for babies and small children to suck their thumbs, fingers or a pacifier. Most children will break this habit on their own by about age 4. If thumb or finger sucking continues, please speak with our pediatric dentists so that we can monitor the habit and provide assistance in breaking it if needed.
